End of the World?

End of the Mayan Calendar

Reputed end of the world

All you have to do is turn on the TV

Or drive on any highway or stand in any densely populated area

to see examples of deceit, evil, destruction, inhumanity

to support the claim

But, take the time

look deeper, listen carefully

and you'll notice those who are like beacons of light in the darkness

those whose words and actions are true examples of love

those who seek truth, life, beauty

those who radiate joy, inspire hope and comfort

Those who have found a way to balance darkness with light

Some of the thoughts I've heard regarding the 21st

the enemy parachuting onto the front lawn

the world spinning out of orbit

UFOs returning to take us 'home'

mass annihilation

nothing at all

But the one I'm most intrigued by is the shift in consciousness

I can't deny that there is a different feel in the energies

 An increased attunement to nature and the universe

There are groups of spiritual people gathering in praise and prayer

Sending love and healing to the world

As I walked into a craft store the other day

I noticed a few men looking up towards the top of the building

At the very peak of the building above the entrance sat a snow owl

So out of place surrounded by concrete and metal

Later I looked to see if the photos the men had taken were online

Instead what I found was this

"To the Mayan [the snow owl] is a messenger who brings a warning
that the world has become so out of balance that we need to change."

So
Is it the end of the world...
or a new beginning
I think it's what you make of it
As for me, adventures await
