Not enough. Working on it every day. Every minute, some days. I am closer than I have been in a very long time. And I am worth the work. That I know. Here's to Loving our Self to bits !
To be perfectly honest, no. This has been a life long struggle. I watch my grands and see them truly love who they are. I am so proud for them and so ashamed for myself. Guilt and shame are hard commodities to scrub away from life's encounters. Sometimes the cards we are dealt are for reasons we cannot know. But as I try to commit to daily, I shall endeavor to succeed. Interesting question. Oma Linda
I have never ever thought of this…I don’t hate myself but I am finally focusing on myself now and becoming much healthier. There are many things in my life that I am taking on…for me and no one else. Perhaps this is loving myself…time will tell! It is a deep question…I am not sure how to love at all…I am in a struggle to figure that out in itself…
Like Anne, I think I can say YES! Definitely. I have thought about this a lot over the years and, while I may get caught up in comparing myself and in insecurities sometimes....it's all superficial stuff. I know that deep down, at the very core of my being I love myself intensely. I know that I am an amazing person! I am just afraid to let it out. You know, all those fears of looking foolish or having people think, "Well, isn't SHE full of herself!". I love myself but haven't learned how to stop caring what others think. Is that a contradicton?!?!

ReplyDeleteYes, I love myself, although at timess I don't like me.
ReplyDeleteAs I live more and more in Presence, I have compassion and love for my small self. I have fallen in love with this self over the years. Hugs Karen
ReplyDeleteYes I do, although it seemed at times like the entire world conspired to convince me otherwise. Fuck 'em all, LOL!
