The winner of the Art Saves book in the previous post...
Anne!
Thank you for your comments but mostly for sticking around
as the poop flies while I work through the Artist's Way
~
Remember how I threw myself on the blog floor
dramatically bemoaning the unrequited muse love?
Oh, which time you ask? yeah I do it alot
Well perhaps my muse read my previous post
and took pity and decided to give me a chance
After months without meeting
our fingers met and intertwined around a paintbrush
the feel of paint on hands, a smear on cheek
the feel of paint on hands, a smear on cheek
and we danced into the night
lost to anything but the glorious sensations and smells
~the melding of Spirit~
Ok, I'll quit the drama
teehee
here's the result of that night
Forgotten Goddess
It's nowhere near finished
but she rests for now
And I'm good with that
Even though I don't do people
I'm satisfied with where she's at...for now
I've noted some things to add later, but the key word...later
It took alot to work through the fear
through the self-bashing my inner censor unleashed
but I did it
and didn't even implode
So I suppose the real winner in this post is...
Me

Holy Cow!!!
ReplyDelete(waddles doing happy dance! not a pretty sight either...)
Thank you Elena, and yes my dear, the real winner is YOU and the art.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful face she has! When the muse is back it's back. :)
Oh, she is lovely, your muse....
ReplyDeleteMaybe you will make friends with those other bitchy critic voices one day...for they seem to take you to wonderful places in the end.
Hugs and love, Artist.
That painting is beautiful, Elena! I love the soft expression on her face. You go, girl!!! Love, Silke
