Rest in Peace

For the past week or so I've been catching shadows out of the corner of my eye. Mostly looks like a woman in a long black dress. Not scary...just...odd.

Last two nights at 1-2 a.m. the phone keeps ringing but each time I answer all I get is static and a dialtone. As soon as I hang up it starts ringing again. This goes on for about 10 min. When it finally stopped this morning, something fell inside the house loud enough to bring the dog growling. Again, not scary but....My father-in-law has been ill for a very long time and calls at this hour are always nerve-wracking.

Well, we got the call at 1 this afternoon. He passed away today. As sad as it is, he didn't deserve to go on suffering (it's been several years).

Perhaps these little things that were happening were related...little signs. Perhaps coincidental power surges. Either way, Goodbye Daddy Ed...rest in peace, finally.
