Well since I'm still blushing and squirming
And really can't think of what to say
I'll distract you with photos of the fluffy ones
About a month ago, three year old Jazz was joined by her new sister, Sparky
They play and fight and are getting better
But there are still turf wars
As they battle over which gets to hug me first
Eventually opting to lay at my feet in the studio
Until we go back outside
Where Jazz teaches Sparky how to use sweet puppy eyes
To get their way
I love my shelter mutts
By the way, I opened a tiny book sitting on my desk entitled
"Open Your Mind, Open Your Life" and fell upon this line
"Accept praise and believe it as readily as you would criticism".
Hmmm...

ReplyDeleteWhat great photographs of your dogs and of course prefaced by such modest words. Your quote is so true also, for some people it is very easy to give with love, but receiving, that is something else.

the turf wars totally understand that... with the four legged loved ones. Sparky has such dense fur..it will be exciting to see when she grows up with the Newfie in her... such a cutie..so grateful you found her... and such beautiful dress for the wedding.. Looked grand..the both of you..
