I know the importance of positive thinking and keeping your vibration on a higher level. So what is it exactly that pipes in sometimes with scary thoughts that there's no way they could come from you? Or worse yet, could they? I'll give you an example. While riding the motos this weekend and purely enjoying the sites and smells and the wind caressing my face, out of nowhere I'll have an image of me falling and cracking my head open. Literally. I can see it and hear it. Sorry to be so graphic but where does that come from? And let me tell you that is
NOT a good thought to have when you're balancing on two wheels and need to be completely in the moment. I have to say out loud, "Holy crap, get outta my head with thoughts like that!" And I swear I imagine chuckling. Ok, I really must be losing it.
My mom refers to these moments as evil playing tricks on us. I imagine this is like in the cartoons with the little devil on one shoulder and an angel on another. Or remember that old Three Stooges episode where all those little devils are stabbing Curly?
Anyway, about a week ago I found a lump because it was hurting. The doc is sending me for a diagnostic mammo. I'm sure I don't have to say that that little devil is wreaking havoc upon my thoughts. Even if I try not to; it's in my thoughts and worse, in my dreams. I know nothing is wrong. But I worry that if I can't keep thinking positively, I'll attract bad mojo.
So please send me positive thoughts via the airwaves...
...and help me knock that thing off my shoulder

ReplyDeleteAs your Mom said the evil one is playing games. Just say a little prayer to God and ask that these thoughts are replaced by happy ones. As someone once told me...Let go and let God.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all...wear your helmet! All the time!
ReplyDeleteSecondly...you have been using a lot of energy pushing those fears down. They may go down for a while, but they are still with you..only deeper
Now, your fears want out...you want those of us who care about you to know. Friends carry each other, you are not alone with friends.
So does it makes sense why you haven't been able to paint? Your mind is elsewhere.
Have you husband go with you for support when you go for your test. You'll need him.
I'll tell you, I feel like this will be fine. I'll send you that positive thought ..let us know
My thoughts are with you Elena :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I have those ugly thoughts I visualise a white protective light around me and those I care for and that helps.
I will pray up and through with you lady~
ReplyDeleteI have now big words of wisdom because I've not walked this path of unknown. But I will pray up and out for you.
Sending strength and prayers your way! And admonishment to believe that the best is heading towards you, so be open to that rather than your fears.
ReplyDeleteI will pass on my father's advise about times like this. There is no use spending energy worrying about the unknown. When you do gain an understanding of what you face, use positive energy to pull through to the other side, no matter what the news. I will add my prayers to the others. Imagine a blue healing light entering from the tip of your head and spreading warmth and positive energy throughout your entire body.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the cyclic process of change has you in its grips, but this is a good thing. You need to process all feelings in order to get to the light on the other side. Tending to your yard sounds healing to me. And maybe another little sculpture will emerge in your nature connection. Like my painting "Phoenix Parrot", you will arise from the ashes and soar to higher consciousness. I believe in you!
ReplyDeleteElena, as someone who has gone through this, I agree with Miki, but Im sure it's hard to not worry. But as I've heard, it's better to think positive right now and not bring yourself down. Take day a step at a time. Try to stay busy. And also, as someone said too-try to take somoeone with you like your hubby because it's better to have two people to remember what the Dr. says! Keep that positive energy there and I'll be thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteI am praying for you and sending you lots of positive energy. I know that awful feeling of worrying that something might be wrong. When you don't know for sure what's going on it can feel like a rope slowly wrapping itself around you and tightening until you are paralyzed by fear. So try not to worry until when and if there's really something to worry about!! Hugs!!!
