I'll tell you what they, along with the 333 and 444 I keep seeing,
mean to me

Seeing the numbers reminds me

I think today is a good day to finally think about what I may want to do
instead of flapping in the wind
believing the idea that I'm too old to start anew

Today is of course the start of DeMengs class, when *I* planned to be studio bound all day, but then we have a snowstorm.
Yes, I'm whining.

ReplyDeleteGreat post as usual Elena. This love of self is only negative when it is narcisstic and selfish. We tell ourselves to love others with their faults but we often have difficulty in applying it to ouselves.
ReplyDeleteI tell you, it's a shame what we have unlearned and learned over the years and have to unlearn again. Do you know how children are so proud of anything they do? A natural pride in their creations? That's how it should be for all of us! I often realize how I am so much kinder toward others than I am toward my own self. And then I wonder how I can even attempt to love others if I don't have the same love for me? I love your posts - they always make me think... Love, Silke
