Never too old for toys

Yes, two posts in one evening but I had to share this....

Right about this time of the year, I get buggy

To ride the motorcycle

And long range weather forecasts make it worse

And I pray for that one day where the temps reach 40

And the snow stays close to the curb

And I can gear up for a cold ride

But this year is different

I hadn't begun to get buggy yet

And I already received the invitation to the rides planning party

That although I don't ride with the group any longer

Still represents the upcoming start of the season

And then Santa showed up late

With consolation gifts
In case cabin fever had set in
