A brick of cream cheese covered with Culinary Circle Raspberry Chipotle sauce and crackers. You can find it near the barbeque sauces. Or Rich's [April's Hubby] stuffed dates with bacon.
Here's an easy artichoke dip--we refer to it as "a cup, a can and a jar".
1 8 oz. jar mayo 1 cup parmesan cheese 1 small can artichokes, chopped (sorry, don't know exact size)
Just mix it all together, spread it in a pie plate or quiche dish and bake @ 350 until it's hot and bubbly. Serve with crackers. It's very yummy and rich!!
the artichoke dip sounds interesting....must give it a try. sorry i couldn't be any help....i got mixed up with what you meant by appetisers. i usually use a tupperware container that has enough multiple sections to fill each with diced cheese, sliced kabana, smoked mussels, diced or small pickled onions and sliced pickled dill/gherkin....serve with toothpicks and small plates. Dip and crackers is an old favourite.
LOL....good luck!
ReplyDeletemy tried and true appetizer is a package of flavored feta cheese mixed gently with a can of flavored petite cut tomatoes-DRAINED of all juices first~
ReplyDeletefill a dish with that and have plain stacy's pita chips or crostini bread sitting with it and wa-la.....appetizer !
it ends up tasting like brucshetta-oh help with the spelling on that one :(
