Ever since I started seeing 911 and 1111
So can you guess how I felt about today?

And seeing that perfectly lined 101010
Perhaps it just appeals to my sense of order
Seeing that perfect symmetry of 1s and 0s
Or perhaps it's a coded message from the Universe
Making me feel like a kid
finding a secret note from Mom in the lunchbox
And being curious
as usual
I had to look it up
And found that today's date
10-10-10
is a reminder that we've come to a time in our lives
where change is unavoidable
But I knew that
as of my last post
Whether I want to change or not
The Universe has other plans for me
And as much as I want to kick and fight
It's useless
As it feels like I have a boot on my back shoving me through the door
But that's ok
I rather like boots
