The Web Part II

A continuation of Friday's, 'The Web', post

So what happens if you prefer to be pig headed like me?
And fight against life's lessons
and stubbornly try to hang onto
the 'old ways' of thinking?

At the end of the journey you end up with a web like this.

But in my defense
This looks more like the web I was weaving in my previous life.
The new one is looking pretty good.

I did warn you you'd be seeing more webs, right?

  1. Ok, where have I been?!? I have been so absent again from blogland. Such deep thoughts and beautiful art! Your journal page is gorgeous!!! And I love that you have begun! You know, you are an inspiration to me and I think we'll all find, when we enter a bigger perspective, that all the webs we wove were beautiful pieces of art! Much love to you, dear friend! Silke

  2. Look how often a spider has to weave its web but it never gives up. The end result after all its ´hard work is a thing of beauty

  5. Oh Elena...I like John's view. Actually this reminds me of my life right now too...mostly my artroom in my basement! Not spidery, but rather entangled. Hoping "things of beauty" emerge.

  6. By the way - I love your lists! Such a great idea and look what you have crossed off! Amazing!

  7. I think that web is amazing... certain to capture a couple meals... Quite the proficiency! A spider sets at my desk on a post it note, not sure who won the battle with her or if was simply her time, I'll have to photo it!

  8. this web looks so cozy...like a comfy mattress for sleeping deeply (especially if you happen to be an unfortunate insect!)...no seriously..it has it's on wild, complicated beauty as does the creator of this fine mesh of a home.
