I was thinking of posting an ad in the neighborhood paper.
Lonely newbie artist searching for like minded individuals
to meet and create together, share conversation, and creative tips.
Not looking to shop for clothes or shoes or gossip.
to meet and create together, share conversation, and creative tips.
Not looking to shop for clothes or shoes or gossip.
Still needs personal space so prefer to get together once or twice a month.
If you're not creative but prefer book discussions I'm in.
But no romances please. Actually, submit book preference...I'm picky.

I was at the library and decided to inquire about the posted book and craft club. I asked what type of books they read, I scrunched my nose. I asked about the crafts and thought, hmmm. I've come to the conclusion I am a snob. I want to be around other creative or spiritually curious people but apparently I have specific requirements for said people. Perhaps I should have asked 'do you have local bloggers?' I think it's time to sign up for something.
I should post that ad.
I'd be the talk of the town.
On a good note
I went for a ride on the motorcycle today
Steered around the straggler ice patches
And it was....OH! WOW!
lol LOVE that post!
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteThat's it.... I'm getting the Harley out today. I have to move a lawnmower, a couple of bicycles, and a broken elliptical, but it'll be worth it!
ReplyDeleteTake the risk and do it...
ReplyDeleteLOL...sounds like an ad even anti-social me would answer :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, Elena <3
Yeah, it can be hard to find your peeps sometimes!
ReplyDeleteI'd answer that ad too!! I love the phrase "like-minded"!! Sometimes it's hard to find people like that but there seem to be many in this blogging community!
ReplyDeleteYup. Love the post and relate. I think sometimes blogs work as we 'find' each other. Somehow it just fits. I check craigslist on occasion to see if I find any like-minded people looking to create, walk, talk etc... Never find much but freaks lookin' to get freaky. No thanks.
ReplyDeleteIf I saw your ad in my local craigslist, I would be all over it!!!
Post it! Post it!
Totally leave it as is. I get it. The right responders would as well. :)
Good ad! Post it!
ReplyDeleteI'm so fortunate with the group of creatives I am with, I wish everyone who wanted this could find a like minded group. Heck even one other person to get together with would be good, you would soon find more. Good luck. Maybe you could offer a class through some outlet? It could be free even but might allow you to meet someone like yourself who is looking for someone like you.
ReplyDeleteYou Ride Woman!
hahaha....i feel like ding it at times...but off late i have found a few creatively like minded souls, who fuel my creativity while still leaving me with ample personal space thanks to twitter.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for the bike ride "wooohoooo wooooot Elena!! way to go"
