Discomfort Addendum

Thank you all for your comments to the Weekword: Discomfort post. I was worried that I was looking for praise but John made me realize that I wanted this woman's story to be known. She needs prayers. Not just because of having been raped and beaten. But because from the looks of it, she's a 'lost soul' and someone her family is having a hard time with. Pray for her and her 17 yr old daughter. Her sister called me later in the evening to say thank you for stopping for her sister. I told her not to thank me but that I would pray for her.

So I also want to add a bit more about Discomfort. Remember when I said the Universe has a way of turning my judgments around into lessons? And I was worried about what that meant was coming at me? Well here's the funny thing. Big bad biker here is really REALLY uncomfortable around teenagers. REALLY. You'd think I was never one myself. I remember when I went to a healer in Santa Fe last year she said I'm supposed to work with teenagers in some capacity and I practically lunged out of my seat saying "No, NO WAY! Anything but THAT!" hee hee...see what I mean. They freak me out.

My son is out of school tomorrow and invited his friend to sleep over. That became one more friend. So I now have four 13 year old boys spending the night tonight and going home tomorrow at 4. When hubby goes to work tomorrow I have visions of him dragging my body as I hold onto his ankle. Don't leave me alone with them!  I'm grinding my teeth. Talk about D-I-S-C-O-M-F-O-R-T! How many more years? SEVEN??!

I'm trying to be cool and nonchalant trying to trick the Universe. 

"Me? I love teens...no need to send me a lesson. I'm good"
